Tax Credit Lending for
Film & Television Productions

Burbank Film Capital provides short-term production financing secured by pre-approved state tax incentives, offering investors structured opportunities tied to qualified film and television productions.

A Smarter Way to Invest in Production

Film and television productions across the United States rely on state tax incentive programs to finance a portion of their budgets.

Burbank Film Capital provides bridge loans against these confirmed tax credits, allowing productions to access capital immediately while investors participate in a structured, collateralized lending opportunity.

How It Works

Many U.S. states offer tax incentive programs designed to attract film and television productions. These programs reimburse a portion of qualified production spending within the state.

Because these incentives are often received after production is completed, productions frequently require short-term financing to bridge the gap between production spending and the receipt of the tax credit.

Burbank Film Capital provides that bridge financing.

As Simple as Three Steps

1.

Production Qualifies for a Tax Credit - A state film office issues a tax credit certificate tied to verified production spending.

2.

Burbank Film Capital Provides Bridge Financing - We lend against the value of the credit, secured by a priority interest in the tax credit and its proceeds.

3.

When the credit is refunded by the state, the loan is repaid to investors according to the loan terms.
